Removing a Ham Radio Repeater Antenna
About five weeks ago the Skywarn repeater in Deason, Tennessee developed
a receiving problem. I finally got an opportunity to take a look at
the problem but the "look" was anything but easy. The nineteen foot
long, twenty foot long antenna had to be removed in order to finally get
to the bottom of the problem. Water in the middle connection, not
accessable while the antenna is mounted, turned out to be the problem .
